The conference aims to create an inter-institutional platform for the historical analysis of the architectural relations between the two countries. Despite the deep roots of these relations in the history of both nations, there has not been any systematic examination of them.

On Wednesday 8th March 2023, 6-8 pm, the exhibition “The Contribution of Women in Contemporary Architecture.Projects for Education and Culture in the World” will be inaugurated with an international conference at the Headquarter of the Order of Architects P.P.C. of the Province of Milan and online. The conference will feature some of the key European women in architecture of the last decades:

Wie kann das Beschaffungswesen und das Vergaberecht den erforderlichen Wandel hin zu einer nachhaltigen, klimaschonenden, sozial gerechten und damit lebenswerten Zukunft unterstützen? Wie verhalten sich Recht und Anwendungspraxis in dieser Hinsicht? Diese Fragen standen im Fokus der von SIA International maßgeblich mitgestalteten trinationalen Veranstaltung am 4.11.2022 in Zürich.

SIA International is happy being a key partner for the 2021 and 2022 Civic Design Conference, organized an hosted by the the Faculties of Architecture and Design of the PBSA University of Applied Science in Düsseldorf. The event is dedicated to the discourse of urban an civic development, and includes keynote speakers from Switzerland, Belgium, France and Germany. They are introduced by colleagues form the Nederlands, Italy etc. teaching in the unique Civic Design Master programme of the University.
